BOOK ERRORS

Long story short, when I uploaded my book to Amazon, I accidentally uploaded an unedited version. I am finding mistake after mistake that I KNOW I fixed. Now my friend and I are spending hours going through and fixing it all over again. This is HIGHLY frustrating considering the amount of people who now have a copy of my book. It makes it seem like I didn't edit, when in fact I and three other people certainly did.

Some of the errors, you may not even have noticed, but some of them are big enough where you were probably thinking "Wow, this chick is an idiot." Yes, yes I am.

If you have read my book and like it, sans the mistakes, than that's fine and I appreciate it. If you don't like it because of the mistakes, I have no one else to blame but myself. However, if you don't like it just because you don't like it and you have some personal opinions on it, it's whatever. I can't please everyone.

Anyway, I apologize for my idiocy. We're fixing it now, and really, the mistakes don't change the story line.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

MMRBQ

93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia popped my concert cherry! I attended they're annual MMRBQ and saw some amazing bands. Here was the lineup:
1. Jaxson's Local Shots All Stars - This band was made up entirely of local amuteures that competed to get into this band. I missed the first part of the show, but everyone said they were awesome.
2. Adelita's Way
3. Pop Evil
4. Halestorm (Loved!)
5. Steel Panther (I want to brush their long, glorious hair)
6. SLASH With Myles Kennedy - I LOVE SLASH. They played Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City. EVERYONE sung along. It was AWESOME.
7. SHINEDOWN (Yeah baby!)
8. GODSMACK - They ROCKED the house, I mean ROCKED.

I had an incredible time even though I was dead tired. I can't wait to go again next year. I don't know who will be playing, but I will be there!

Nuttin Really

Okay. I'm going to try to keep up with my blog, I promise. Life is busy. Cry you a river, right?

I am polishing my book - it needs polishing. I read it the other day and I found discrepencies that maybe a reader may not catch, but it bothers me and I want my book to be perfect. Probably, every few weeks, I'll fix it up again. Bad enough, several people still have a version that says "abdominal snowman" instead of "abominable snowman."

My house is super quiet right now. Eerie. I don't know where all of the children, the husband, and the cat are. It's just me and the fish who's name changes weekly. I think I'm going to bask in the temporary silence.

Fifty Shades Review

I've finished Fifty Shades. Here's my review!

When I first heard of Fifty Shades of Grey, I was absolutely sure that it was going to be Fifty Shades of Boring. However, I have been humbled and impressed beyond all that is sensible.

Ana Steele is charming, funny, and brave. I truly enjoyed and appreciated her inner dialogue and musings. One of my favourite laugh out loud moments was: "Don't pee? How rude!" I can't tell you why it made me giggle, but it did and still does. Ana's Inner Goddess and Subconscious are perfect examples of how we internally operate, and Mrs. James' creativity and playfulness with the two are highly impressive and warming.

Christian Grey. Oh my. The question of whether or not he is the type of man women secretly want is easily answered: Yes, of course! And guess what? It's really not a secret! All things Christian, even when he was at his worse behaviour, was hot and sexy. His story of his past is heart breaking, but watching him morph into the man he became by the end of the trilogy kept me spell bounded and I only grew to love the character more. To keep this G-rated, I'll end my conversation regarding the smouldering Christian Grey. Yum.

The Fifty Shades trilogy was well executed and beyond entertaining. Several times I found myself relating to the characters on an emotional level, despite many obvious differences between us (Christian's endless bank accounts, Ana's beauty). The relationship between Miss Steele and her Fifty Shades megalomaniac was startlingly enchanting, mind blowing even. I have never loved a fictional couple more! Much to often I spoke aloud to the characters, as if they could hear me. I knew I would be sad when it ended, but I sincerely hope Mrs. James will again honour us with even a smidgen more of Christian and Ana.
